Another world is waiting, a new path for the taking, will you take that first step? The road may seem daunting but if you open your heart to the mystery of the unknown, your courage will protect you and your spirit will come alive. This next poem is inspired by just that. I ask you today, which friend are you? Lots of love Clarabelle
I AM YOU
Come home my friend, come closer to me,
The rainbow of dreams, set you free.
But I have missed you, all this time,
Hoping one day, you will me mine.
You had ambitions, goals to achieve,
Your soul was talking, you did believe.
You made things happen, it all came true,
A memorable journey, opened for you.
When my heart wakes up, to each new day,
I face the same routine, the same old way.
And as time goes by, I think of my friend,
Discovering the world, until the end.
You had faith, your spirit knew,
You moved out of the black and into the blue.
I see me in you, without any fears,
Happy smiles, no river of tears.
And as I wake up from my sleep, I look around,
I AM YOU my friend, happiness I have found.

Would be a better world. If we seek the proper goals and slow down. Your poem is true. All of us will struggle and a gift of a smile or a hello can change a day from bad to good. Thank you for the excellent poetry.
Thank YOU John, wonderful and true comments from yourself.
Beautifully written Clarabelle.. Thanks

Hello Claire,
What you say here rings with so much truth and clarity. Makes me wish more people would have the courage to step outside the routine familiar drudgery of their everyday survival modes and be adventurous enough to see what a wonder this life can be. For me it took a heart transplant. I now live in a totally different world that the one in which I existed prior. Excellent post.
